Jake (he/him) graduated from Camosun College’s RMT program in August 2022. Since then Jake has been busy staying up to date on evidence based practice techniques and continues to enhance his skills. Jake doesn’t conform to the “one size fits all” approach of massage. He is dedicated to creating and tailoring a treatment that is specific to his patients needs and is focused on connecting the mind and body.

Jake has always had a passion for helping and healing people, and through massage, he is able to achieve that passion. Through Jake’s time at Camosun, he has grown an interest in massaging all areas of the body, but he specifically likes working with the neck, back, and shoulders. So much so that Jake did extensive research regarding the topic of spinal injuries for his capstone project in school. Jake has a calm, friendly and non-judgmental persona that creates a warm and positive environment for his patients. Jake enjoys working with people from all walks of life, and uses a compassionate and thoughtful approach in order to create the best experience for his patients. Outside of the workplace, you can find Jake riding his motorcycle on twisty roads or going for cruises to new and exciting areas. Jake also loves the aquatic life, such as paddle boarding and swimming. Along with being active and healthy, Jake loves to spend quality time with his partner catching up over dinner or enjoying their favorite show together.

Tobin Sagara (he/him) started in his first career as a programmer but found it unfulfilling. Having given massages to friends and family for years it was suggested that he look into Massage Therapy as his next career choice. Tobin decided to join the RMT program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2013. There he learned various modalities such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, to Myofascial Release. Because everyone responds differently to treatment Tobin enjoys working with clients to figure out what techniques specifically work for them. He likes working with deep tissue through the shoulders and neck helping to relieve clients from stress and tension headaches. Tobin grew up in Toronto and has lived in Victoria since 1995. In his free time he enjoys photography and, on occasion, hitting the climbing gym.
